FAQs
1.HOW LONG IS A DAY? (RENTAL PERIOD)
When you rent a bike, the days of use are counted from the day of collection to the day of return. On special request you can collect your bike the evening before the start of a rental but this is subject to availability & we cannot guarantee this.
2. WHAT DAY AND TIME CAN I COLLECT AND RETURN MY BIKE AT THE SHOP?
Our bike-hire center opening times are 9:00 am to 17:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 09:00-13:00 Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can collect and return your bike on your paid days in these times. You can request early collection of your bike (for example the evening before to ride early) however we can not guarantee that because another customer has until the end of the day to return the bike.
3. CAN YOU DELIVER AND COLLECT RENTAL BIKES?
Yes we can deliver bikes to most areas in Cyprus. Simply provide your delivery address & ask us for a quote. Deliveries take place at 09:00 on the first day and bike collection at 17:00 on the last day. If circumstances allow it (i.e. your arrival time and date), we can deliver the evening before the start of the rental but this is subject to availability & we cannot guarantee this.
4. WHAT TOOLS AND ACCESORIES COME WITH THE BIKE?
Bikes come equipped with two bottle holders (no bottles), 3 spare tubes (€6 each if used), a hand pump, and tyre levers.
We do not supply gas canisters or bidons – these are available to purchase.
Pedals (Shimano SPD-SL, Shimano SPD, and Look KEO) and helmets are also available for rent at 7 euros and 10 euros per order respectively.
5. IS A LOCK PROVIDED WITH THE RENTAL BIKES?
We do not supply a lock with any of our rental bikes. We do not recommend leaving the bikes unattended. If a bike is stolen during your rental period you are held responsible for the cost of replacing the bike.
6. WHAT ARE THE INSURANCE CONDITIONS FOR THE BIKE?
Bikes are not insured. Kindly note that we offer a 10 Euro insurance cover that includes minor scratches and damages on the bikes. Unfortunately in Cyprus, there is still no supplier offering insurance for bike theft.
7. IS THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT MADE VIA THE WEBSITE?
You can place an online order via our website in which case full payment is required upon check-out. Alternatively, please let us know your preferred bike type and size as well as any accessories (helmet, pedals, etc) and we will process the order manually for you. This way, payment can be arranged upon delivery of the bike via card or cash.
